The Dead Internet Theory. AI Just Made It a Zombie.

The dead internet theory existed before AI.

AI just turned it into zombie internet.

The original idea was simple: the internet stopped being a place where humans created things for other humans.

Then came the bots. Click farms. Phone farms. Fake engagement.

Because attention became money.

Big tech companies discovered addiction mechanics and hired some of the best behavioral psychologists on earth to figure out how to keep people attached to glowing rectangles for as long as possible.

And it worked.

The internet slowly stopped feeling useful. Humans created content. Bots clicked it. Bots watched it.

Then AI arrived.

And suddenly everyone realized they could mass-produce content too.

Now AI generates. Bots engage. AI watches. AI clicks.

And somewhere in between all of this, actual humans still exist.

Bent over in the middle of the street, staring silently into their phones.
